| Categories: Teknologi Informasi Berdasarkan statistik di server, banyak yang 'nyasar' masuk ke situs ini gara-gara 'hanya' mencari definisi dari istilah "Teknologi Informasi" (TI). No wonder, karena di situs ini saya memang pernah menulis tentang berbagai definisi teknologi informasi 4 tahun yang lalu!
Di sisi lain, Indonesia sudah memiliki "definisi resmi" dari istilah TI sejak tahun 2008 yang lalu. Hal tersebut tertuang dalam UNDANG-UNDANG REPUBLIK INDONESIA NOMOR 11 TAHUN 2008 Tentang Informasi Dan Transaksi Elektronik atau yang lebih sering dikenal dengan UU ITE. Tapi tetap saja banyak yang nyasar ke sini untuk mendapatkan definisi TI.
Oleh karena itu, saya tulis ulang definisi TI walau sudah agak basi, kali ini definisi yang resmi. Inilah definisi TI berdasarkan UU ITE:
"Teknologi Informasi adalah suatu teknik untuk mengumpulkan, menyiapkan, menyimpan, memproses, mengumumkan, menganalisis, dan/atau menyebarkan informasi."
Hanya itu saja? Ya, hanya itu saja. Moga-moga yang nyasar ke sini dapat definisi TI yang resmi di atas.
